Push Start FAQ

Good questions. Straight answers.

What shop owners and teams need to know before getting started.

How much does Push Start cost?

Push Start includes a 30-day free trial. After the trial, the base shop subscription is $45 per month with one CRM seat. Each additional assigned shop role is $25 per month. Paying the full year upfront saves 10%: $486 for one seat, plus $270 for each additional annual seat.

What happens from a new lead to a finished job?

Record the inquiry and vehicle, follow up, build an estimate, schedule approved work, then create an invoice. The customer and vehicle context stays connected through those steps.

Can a customer book without using the app?

Yes. Push Start is the workspace for your shop team. Customers can use a separate public booking experience when your shop has it configured; they do not need a Push Start account.

What does the VIN scanner do?

On iPhone or iPad, scan a vehicle's VIN barcode with the camera. Push Start captures the 17-character VIN and decodes vehicle details so you can attach the right vehicle to the customer and job.

Can the team track materials used on a job?

Yes. Push Start keeps inventory quantities, costs, and materials alongside bookings, so the shop can see what is on hand and what work uses.

How do estimates and invoices differ?

An estimate quotes proposed work and can move through customer review and scheduling. An invoice records the amount due for work and its payment activity.

Does Push Start include customer texting?

The app has customer conversations, templates, and follow-up workflows. Texting and automations require the shop's messaging setup and any connected service to be configured.

Where can I use the Push Start app?

Push Start works across iPhone, iPad, and macOS with the same account, shop records, and permissions on every device.

Is there a native Mac app?

Yes. Push Start is designed as a native app experience across iPhone, iPad, and macOS.

Can I import data from my current CRM?

Yes. Push Start has import tools for supported customer, vehicle, booking-history, lead, and invoice records. Review the available fields and sample rows before importing, then verify the results in your shop workspace.

Will each shop have its own account?

Yes. Every shop has its own workspace, members, roles, locations, subscription, and business records. One shop cannot see another shop's information.

Can one person switch between roles?

Yes. A user can have platform and shop roles when authorized, then switch to the appropriate view without creating duplicate logins.

Is there a customer-facing app?

No. Push Start is for shop owners and staff. A shop's public booking website remains separate.

Where can I get the iPhone and iPad app?

Visit the Download page for installation information. If a direct link is not listed, contact our team for the current link for your device.

Will importing data change my old CRM?

No. Imports read an export or approved source and write a copy into Push Start. The original system is not deleted or changed by the import.
